Did any of you buy the teachers manual for RH? Is it worth getting? I am getting ready to order level A, so I could use it for several levels.

I had bought it a long time ago. It was a waste of money as it was just a copy of the student text with some teacher hints. There wasn't much. You can really do the program without it.

I never bothered to buy it. Though I didn't start using a reason for writing until this year with my grade 4/5 kids. I don't think I would have bought it anyway even if they were younger.

I purchased the teacher's guide and have hardly used it. There is a section that suggests which lessons to use based on when you would like to introduce cursive. IMO, there are no tips beyond basic handwriting know-how in the TG. When your child is ready to begin cursive, you can introduce it beginning with the 1st transition level exercise and then move forward through the transition book. My kids like A Reason for Handwriting because the lessons or short and they enjoy decorating the page on day 5 of each week.

I bought it when we used it a few years ago and I never used it.

I only used it for K because I was a little paranoid, lol, about making sure dd would have proper handwriting habits. However, we do not use it now.
