Do I need HWT tm for pk and 1st grades?

I am putting together next years list and I realized that I don't used our kindergarden tm for hwt. Is there any reason why I would need them for PK or 1st grade? With 4 kids to buy for, every dollar counts! Jen

I have the TM and never used them. All the info is in the student book. The TM has other ideas for teaching letters but mostly just more on the same info in the student book. I wouldn't purchase them if you are looking to save money. It's a dust collector here.
