I'm trying to plan my grammar and writing for 3rd grade. I would like something that covers creative writing as well as writing nuts and bolts (structure, voice, reports, etc.) as well as grammar. Any suggestions for something that will cover all this?

Does Writing Tales cover grammar and writing? I'm thinking of using Writing Tales and FLL3 together. Would this be redundant? I'm also looking at Language Lessons for the Elementary Child. Would this cover grammar and writing? After FLL 1/2 would you use the first or second LL for the Elem Child? The first seemed to cover the same stuff we're covering in FLL 1/2. TIA for any help!

We're using Writing Tales (grammar, writing, little spelling) and Primary Language Lessons by Lingua Mater (picture study, written and oral narration, grammar, usage, mechanics, creative writing, dictation, copywork) for 3rd. Your other questions, I don't know. We will also use Simply Spelling by Laurie Hicks which uses copywork/dictation to teach spelling rules in context.
