I know I've seen this on here, but can't find it. Also I remember one was evening primrose oil-what is the dosing on this? Thanks!

I have had success with Vitex (chasteberry) and natural progesterone cream. When I have run out, watch out!!!

St. Johns Wort really helps me get through the grumpiness of pms.

Mostly for pain in the chest area (if you know what I mean). It has worked wonders for that and I think that my moods are better as well.

I mean - isn't that the cure all for all "female complaints?";)

I used it for the ten days preceding my expected period. It improved my moods enormously. I haven't needed it recently but it was great at that time.

The only side effect I found was that it tended to delay my periods, or so it seemed to me.

Natural progesterone for 10 days starting from ovulation. I do a half-dose, though. 1 x/day rather than 2. That seems to be my happy medium.

Calcium/magnesium is also supposed to help. I've tried it with varied success (mostly I think because I forget to take it! FWIW, LOL). I think 1200mg calcium, 600 mg magnesium is generally accepted, althoug I've heard more of a 1:1 ratio with the magnesium can be helpful (magnesium is good for anxiety).

I agree with the Evening Primrose Oil!
