I need more worship music in my house. Although I somestime like the fast, upbeat style right now I am really looking for more worshipful songs (not saying that contemporary, upbeat Christian music can't be worshipful but hopefully you understand what style I'm looking for) i.e. "Jesus Draw me close", "El Shadai" style. And it can be upbeat just not the fast style where I am straining just to get the words. Thanks for your help!

I really, really like the Jars of Clay CD, Redemption Songs. You see a playlist at the bottom of the amazon page:

This might seem silly, but I love the Praise Baby cds :) My youngest son received some as a baby gift and now our entire family loves them. My parents have even bought some now after hearing them at our home. The songs are well chosen, the lady does a nice job singing them, and we find ourselves singing them even when not listening to them.
I also love Amy Grant's two hymn cds. The arrangements are nicely done.

Some of my favs:
You Raise Me Up, Selah
Wonderful, Merciful Savior, Selah
In Christ Alone, Natalie Grant or Brian Littrell
Who Am I, Casting Crowns (a little edgier, but beautiful)
Grace Flows Down, Passion Band
Breathe, Rebecca St. James
My Savior, My God, Aaron Shust
Communion, Third Day (again, a little edgier)
Mountain of God, Third Day
I Can Only Imagine, MercyMe
Redeemer, Nicole C Mullen
On My Kneed, Jaci Velasquez
I Still Believe, Jeremy Camp
Open the Eyes of My Hear, Sonic Flood
How Great is our God, Chris Tomlin
Held, Natalie Grant
Cry out to Jesus, Third Day
You can probably find these on Amazon and listen to some clips. Also, if you are looking for them in MP3 format, you can just buy individual songs. Hope these help.
