Stephen Lawhead : Hood (question)

Earlier this year my 6th grader read and wnjoyed Lawhead's The Iron Lance. The other day I found his book Hood and brought it home to look over. I haven't had a chance to look it over yet and my ds is wanting to read it. Is there any adult content in this book that I should worry about? Too much bad language? Adult (ahem) situations? Not worried about violence.
