Golden Key International Honor society

Anyone have any information about this? Any advantage to paying the $70 to "accept our invitation"? The invitation to join came through ds's university counselor's office.

I was a Golden Key member as was my husband. In fact my husband was president one year. It's a good thing to put on your resume. Chapters really vary in how active they are. Our chapter wasn't active at all. It is fairly well-known, but if money is tight I would hold off for the honor societies tied to your major. However, if dd is eligible for MortarBoard, definitely apply as it is very competitive and prestigious.
