View Full Version : Question about TOG forums.
How do the TOG forums work? A week ago, I posted a question about Dialectic literature (for Year 2) on the Year 2 Literature board. It really was the kind of question that someone from TOG would need to answer. Do they just choose not to answer some questions? Did I not post in the right place? Should I e-mail my question to customer service? Should I just let my question die a quiet death and try not to let it bug me? :p If you have any tips, I'd appreciate it. :)

it's really irritating.
Of course, I've had questions go unanswered here too.
Maybe, despite what my teachers told me, there really is such a thing as a dumb question?
(not that yours was dumb):p
TOG forums don't seem to be as active as this board. If they are busy in the offices working on a project, I think your question might have been overlooked. I would send a direct question to TOG and see what happens. I wouldn't feel bad. They are a small company with a lot going on right now..new product going out, redesigns being written, and conference season coming up soon. I bet it get crazy for them.

I have posted to no avail, but from what I have seen someone does try to answer.
Ahem!....Of course not....I never ask dumb questions. ;)
I'm sure you all are right. They are slow and VERY busy right now, I'm sure. I think I will e-mail them my question next week. I'll give it another couple of days. If it was something I thought I could just forget, I would, but I need to know where I'm going to make sure I'm steering right, KWIM?
Thanks. :)

bump the question up. That is what I do on a board like this one. I just keep bumping until someone answers. Perhaps try repling to your own thread with bumping or waiting for answer. I usually get an answer within 3 days from the author or Dana (who really is trying her best to answer).

O.k., thanks! I'll try to bump before I send an e-mail to customer service. :)
