I'd say....it depends on your child.
This year we started using CD for all older dc. Prealgebra, Alg 1, Precalculus and Calculus.
My 3 boys are doing great with both the Chalkdust DVDs and texts and loving it. DD on the other hand, although she loves Dana Mosely......she really hated the textbook. We had to switch her to TT Precalculus, what she asked for.
As far as textbooks go, personally I like the Foerster's best, but that's probably my learning style. If you could get a used copy of the Larson and Foerster's texts and have your child decide which they prefer that may answer your question. If you PM me I can give you the isbn #s.

As far as I know Math without Borders doesn't go beyond Foerster's Al II with Trig text. If you want to use Foerster's Precalculus with Trigonometry or Calculus, there isn't anything available yet from Math without Borders. I personally prefer the Foerster texts, but since that was not available, I went with Dana Mosely and the Larson text.
As far as switching from Math without Borders to CD, I don't think it would be too much of a problem for a more advanced math student. My ds has had to go back and pull out his old Foerster Precalc text a couple of times to refresh his memory, but it has not been a problem for him to switch from Foerster for Al II and Precalc to Larson for Calculus.
