I found some at Walmart 5 for $5, but they shrunk horribly.
I'm going to embroider them, like the tea towels my great great gma did. If I'm going to spend all that time they should be useable not just pretty.
Thanks,

nice bar towels. I make mine, but I have to grab yards of linen toweling when ever I go to Amish country. It's getting harder and harder to get. I would like the internet fairy to make a sewing site that carries linen toweling, nansook, dimity, and cotton organza in black and white. I would also like a nice rayon slip fabric. I can't find that either any more. Get the idea I would rather sew than shop.;)

I'm not sure how much bigger they are than Wal-Mart, though, or whether or not they shrink. I think Target carries them, too.
I bought some from Wal-Mart last year, but mine didn't shrink. I am actually going to cut them in half and hem them. They were too big for my taste.
