Mary Hood "Relaxed Home Schooling" conference in Austin

Just wanted to let y'all know that Mary will be here Saturday, April 19, to do her workshop/conference. I've set up a moderated Yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/archersconference) with a registration form and all that stuff (the group will be discontinued after the conference).

Mrs. Hood was speaking at a local conference in KC a few years ago. I was having some trouble figuring out what to do with my unmotivated teenage son. I had gone from booth to booth and went to every talk that had something to do with teenagers and or motivation and had no breakthroughs. I came across Mary's table and decided to ask her opinion. All that came out was a wail. I ended up sitting at her booth just crying my eyes out. She was very kind and helpful but I was terribly embarrassed (it was so unlike me.)

It was a few weeks later that I found out I was pregnant and realized that my hormones got the best of me. :)
