Any of you actually using the Math Without Borders??

This is another I've considered and I want the general consensus thus far. If you're using it, are you pleased?

We tried several programs, and ds had decided he just wasn't any good at math. We switched over to Foerster's, and then when we got the CD's from Math without Borders it was like a light turned on. He has been able to complete his exercises with very little help from me since we started them (we started around the end of chapter 4, and are now finishing up chapter 6). They are not the most exciting lectures, but they are very clear, and ds is now making consistent progress with algebra. (We tried the exciting Thinkwell lectures and really enjoyed them - but ds didn't retain anything).

I also like them because I can sit and watch the lecture, and then if he needs help I am all caught up! I would definitely recommend them.

Thank you for this review! I am planning to use this for Algebra II and it is nice to hear that it is working.

Good results here for Algebra II & Foerster's using Math Without Borders. My ds says it is just what he was looking for in a DVD supplement.:thumbup1:
