MY 9 year old had a very loose tooth that fell out today. My 6 year old and the 7 year old I have temporarily, just couldn't stand being left out. They started wiggling their barely loose teeth with determination. My 6 year old managed to get hers wiggled right on out. Not an hour later, the third child also yanked her tooth out. Of course it was all on a day that the tooth fairy had no cash on hand. I just spent the last half hour digging through pockets and couches scrounging up change to redeem the teeth. I knew they were competitive, but this is ridiculous!

Holy cow. My ds was late losing his teeth, and with the second tooth, he was so determined that it come out NOW that he worked it loose then out probably a month before it should have fallen out. Of course that meant that the new tooth was delayed coming IN, and he was without front teeth for an amazingly long time. :-)

They figured she was going to have to come back in a couple of days to get their loose teeth, so they went ahead and got them out figuring she would only have to make the one trip.:D

OH no! LOL This reminds me of something I did when I was little. I had a friend in school who had a very very loose tooth. I mean, it was practically hanging and she was terrified of loosing it. I was trying to make her feel better, so I started wiggling my tooth nonstop. I was already missing one front tooth. I wiggled and lost the other front tooth that day! YOu know what happend? It took one year for that tooth to come in all the way!!!!!!!!!!! I was toothless for so long.
My son is now 7.5 and hasn't lost a single tooth yet and none are wiggly.
