That book was published before ISBN numbers were used!
Beth in Central Texas did some great research on Dolciani editions which you can read in this thread (http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37377&highlight=dolciani).

Thank you Jane that was very informative. With the texts being so difficult to obtain, do you think the newer versions would be comparable or is it worth it to obtain the older versions? Thank you, Angela

I'd go with a 60's or 70's edition for a superior book. The ones from the early 80's are not bad, but I think that there are more challenging problems in the earlier editions. And they really are not that hard to obtain. People find them regularly on the Internet. Do a search on these boards for some hints on how to find the texts.

I'm with Jane on the years. We borrowed a 1975 from the library and bought a 1965, My dd insists that the 1965 one is superior, but that's her opinion.
