Does anyone here have experience with this?

What did you or your dc like about it? What did you NOT like about it?

Can anyone compare it to the research paper section/chapter that you find in the ABeka grammar & writing courses? ABeka seems to be pretty thorough, and also lays it out sequentially. Does AG do a better job? If so, in what way?

Is this a really new program?

I have this, but haven't used it yet.
I was planning on either doing a writing focus at the end of this year or beginning of next year and using this.
I can't compare it to Abeka as I have not ever used Abeka material.

Have you been able to look at this program? Is there any questions I can answer about layout or contents or anything by looking over it? Or are you more concerned with the application of it? If so, I can give you a review in 3-6 months (ok, I know that really doesn't help, does it?).

Hopefully someone else has used it and will post.

I liked the literary essay on, but was really disappointed in the research paper. Not only did the steps seem hard to follow, but the idea for a written paper was dismal - they wanted you to write a report on a person (birth to death type stuff). I thought that was grade school stuff, and that high school research papers should be a bit more meaningful.

Thanks for your post. I was mixed up, I don't have the research paper program, I have the literary essay one.
Sorry about that! :o

We've got the essay and research paper stuff, but haven't used those yet, either. I wanted to do them this year, but he's already got so much to do.
