Is there a consumable Pre-Algebra book out there?

One of my dc has a problem with copying, so he wants a Pre-Algebra book he can write in.

Is there one that has enough space to do the work?

I'd really rather not copy out the problems for him, but I guess I can!

MUS or A Beka come to mind as options. Dd loved MUS Pre-Algebra after struggling with Saxon. Later, we moved onto Foerster's Algebra. It's only a year later but she has really adjusted to writing out the problems. Perhaps it's a developmental thing for some dc's.
