Next school year I will likely have 3 students. One will be doing a virtual school and she will be a 6th grader, but working on a 4-5th grade level due a variety of reasons. Next we have a (will be) second grader, who goes to a waldorf school now, but is a bit ahead of her peers and bored out of her mind. She loves books and loves being read too. Then we have a 5 year old (who will be in K if in PS)
I have been looking at Ambleside and Tanglewood. However, I just rediscovered Living Books and LOVE IT. However, I do not love the price tag. I love aspects of both CM and WTM. LOVE them both. I think my kids lean more towards CM naturally, but I had done First Language LEssons with my now 5th grader and she LOVED it. Anyway, could I get just the teachers guide from LBC and then get the books from year to year either from the library or hunt them down other ways? Of course we all would love to own all those books, and perhaps I can at some point. Just not now.
