This is the company selling the actual software used in the double-blind controlled studies in Sweden done on working memory. The cost includes assessment and training from real professionals (PhD's, Psy D's, MD's). Woo-hoo! There are sites in most states.

I'm so excited. After seeing the effects of Brainware, I'm really excited to have found the original computer training program. It's called Cogmed.

Which product would you prefer for your son, if you could afford either? Or do they complement each other, so that you'd use both?

Well, we already have Brainware Safari so we'll continue that until we're finished. I think it's a great program. I have no experience yet with Cogmed, but am excited about their research base. Brainware is MUCH cheaper $50 versus $1500. So we'll do them sequentially.
