Are these with guides meant for grammar or logic? Thanks!

Do you mean the study guides put out by Memoria Press? My 6th grader is using the one for Famous Men of the Middle Ages. She does it completely on her own. I just check to make sure she answered the questions correctly. I think my 3rd grader could read (or listen) to the text and then orally answer most of the questions. But I wouldn't expect him to write the answers, at least, not on his own.
Does that help?

We use them as read-alouds, no study guide. My kids are 3rd and 5th grade. They could definitely be used at a higher level as well, with or without the study guide.
Perfect for Logic, and bit too detailed for Grammar. The Logic stage child will get much more out of these. When I tried them with my Grammar stager, she found them dry and much preferrred SOTW.
Since there seems to be less material available for Logic stage students, no harm in saving them for later.
