Update on ds' psychiatrist appt.

We saw the child psychiatrist again today. This time we had a 40-minute appt., so more time to talk. She believes ds's moodiness and irritability are due to anxiety. He isn't having obsessive thoughts like he was a year ago, but definitely has a lot of anticipatory anxiety, and very anxious about new situations, etc. I think he has a lot of anxiety about school, especially the subjects that are difficult for him. I have OCD, and my mom takes medication for anxiety, so it makes sense.

So she prescribed Zoloft. I am praying it will help!
