Is there much difference between levels A & B on the studend dvd's? I have a 6th, 2nd and K. My 6th grader really struggles with writing. I am thinking about just starting my 6th grader with level B. Any thoughts?

If you look on the website there is a scope and sequence for each level. Level B teaches a couple of additional concepts, however as long as he is a good reader he shouldn't have any trouble doing level B.

. . . call IEW. They're extremely helpful. Mr. Pudewa himself even answered the phone once when I called.

level A is for 4-5th
level B is for 6-7th
level C is for 8-11th
I am doing level A with my 5th grader and it's perfect. I did it once before with a 4th grader who was a strong reader and it went well also. If your son is not having any difficulty reading, then I would consider using level B. You may need to slow it down.
If you are planning on combining your 2nd grader and 6th grader, then you will definitely want to get level A because the topics that the student reads/writes about would be more apropriate plus the reading level would be more apropriate. I found that IEW really works best after the the child is reading well (somewhere around 3-5th grade) and isn't struggling with handwriting. Hope that helps. Angela
