This story has some good, general info on sleeping and memory. Since many of our kids have sleeping issues and memory issues, I thought this was worth posting.

Interesting. It corresponds to what I've seen with my dc. If I go to bed late, I hear them moving around in their sleep right after I walk down the hallway past their rooms. It disturbs their sleep to hear me, even though it doesn't wake them. The next day they are less attentive and have more trouble following directions. When I go to bed early, everyone is more attentive in school the next day. Lesson learned - go to bed, Mom!
