I'm soon to start on a writing program with my DD8. Writing Tales looks really interesting to me. Anyone have opinions on this or their favorite writing program?
Thanks!

We're used CW Aesop for 3rd and are continuing with it this year as well. I've heard good things about Writing Tales as well. I just wanted one program that I could stick with all the way through. HTH

I just bought Writing Tales I last week and we did the first lesson over the weekend. My kids both loved it and said it didn't even feel like "work." We are combining it with Growing With Grammar and so far both programs show a lot of promise for my kids.
Hope this helps.

This is what we use too. :) Love it!
But we didn't/don't start with a formal writing program (WT or online classes) until my children were/are in 4th or 5th grade. Just my own personal preference.

We are using WT this year with my DD8. We both enjoy it. It varies the activities so it's never boring. She's doing really well with her writing (her first formal writing curriculum) and she loves the games. It brings in grammar, spelling and vocab as well, which is a bonus since it reinforces what my daughter is doing in those other subjects.

enjoying Writing Tales immensely.
We are doing WT1 and WT2. It offers dictionary skills, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills. All in one program!!
Blessing in your homeschooling journey!
Sincerely,
Karen

We're half way through WT1 now, and I just ordered WT2 today. We're going to start that when it arrives. I think he needs more than WT1 has to offer for his ability level.
We've been really pleased with the program, and ds enjoys writing - so I guess it's a success!
