For the CTY Talent Search 7-8th graders have a choice between the ACT or the SAT. For anyone who has btdt, any reason why you would chose one over the other?

In general the difference between the ACT & SAT (as I understand & please correct me if I'm wrong) is that the ACT tests actual knowledge (more like the IOWA, etc) while the SAT tests aptitude. We chose the ACT because it has less emphasis on the math section (it's one of four sections--Eng., reading, math, science) where on the SAT it's 1/2 the test (verbal & math.)
