This is a choosing rhyme (like eeny, meeny, miney, moe). Pretend there's an accent on the i's in detin, marin, and titere.
Detin, Marin, de lo pingue
Cucara, macara, titere fue
Yo no fui,
Fue Tete,
Pegale, pegale
Que este cochino, marrano, fue.

If you're teaching to count though, I'd use the Elephant Song:

Un elefante se balanceaba
Sobre la tela de una arana (this supposed to be the enye, so "aranya").
Cuando veia,
Que resistia,
Fue a llamar otro elefante.

Dos elefantes...
Tres elefantes...

Etc.
