We enrolled our ds14 in the Veritas Press Scholars Online program this year for the Omnibus III Primary Books class. This was our best home-schooling decision of the year. My son is loving the class, and we are very pleased with the teacher, the content, pace, etc. etc.
If you have any questions about Omnibus or the online class, let me know and I'll try to answer.

That is wonderful to hear! I've been working out our tentantive Jr./Sr. high plans during the past week (some people clean like a feind the last few weeks of pregnancies, I do curriculum planning!), and we're leaning towards Omnibus as a key component.
If your child CAN read well, but doesn't necessarilly like to read a lot, could Omnibus still work out pretty well? I've figured out a way we can modify it -- but just curious about using that on its own.
Thanks.

Yes, I think it can still work with a reluctant reader. The list of books is quite long -- I skipped several of the books when I was doing OmII with my ds last year. That way we were able to go at a slower pace, so that the reading assignments weren't as heavy.

I'm wondering the advantages of going with this online, versus an Omnibus Program...in person. We're talking about what kind of group to have for next year, and so I'm curious as to what you're loving about it:-) I'm wondering if we can replicate the same or better in person and...also...How much it costs...and how many hours your son gets in instruction...and...How many hours does he study each week??
