I just placed my order with the distance education academy in our state. Here is what I ordered, plus what I already have. I will more then likely not use everything all the time. Here goes:

(I have one k'er and one first grader, both boys)

ETC (at various levels)
Phonics Pathways (for K'er only)
HWOT
Saxon 1 and 2
Shurley English
STOW
I am going to order the Usborne encyclopedia for science
Family of Poems (I will probably trade this for a more kid-ish collection)
And I found an art book with pictures of art, and a brief synopsis of the work and the artist. I am hoping this will spark some creative interest.
We will start working through the Dolch sight words list 10 at a time, mostly to satisfy DS6 desire for a spelling list.
We will also be doing lots of reading, independently, together we read all the time!
I am also going to work a tiny bit of copywork (like our memory verse) each week.

We also read the Bible daily together, with an activity to correspond with where we are (pretty simple stuff).

When it is written out it sounds like alot, but we will not to all of this everyday and what we do do each day. I feel pretty ok with all of this. I am sure that we will pare down what we need to to keep our school day at about 2.5 to 3 hours (or so).

What do you think? Anything I am missing?

The curriculum you chose sounds great. We have used many of the books you mentioned with great success.

I notice breaking school up into a morning session and an afternoon session works best in my house. I have an active boy who can not sit still for hours on end schooling. Your DSs are young so you might want to try the same.

Overall I think you have a solid plan for next year.

Looks great to me! I also used some of the same things--fav's were Saxon (I see you also use a year ahead) and SOTW. Is your 1st grader going to do narrations? I have some pages I'll send you if you want--pm me.
