was wondering about how to list these couses on a transcript. Are any of these considered Honors or AP courses? I don't want to put my child at a disadvantage by what the transcript might or might not say. Also, what exactly is the difference between Honors and AP?

I just called them English I, II, III, IV. In the course descriptions I indicated some of the works and that they correlated with the history.
I did call Alg. 2/Trig. honors since the textbook publisher called it honors (Foerster's).
You can't call anything AP anymore unless your class/program has been approved by College Board through their audit process. You can state in your course descriptions that it is AP-level and at completion the student would be prepared to take the AP test.
Honors classes usually are more in depth and move faster to cover more material than regular classes. AP are college level and by taking the test, a student may or may not get college credit.
