How do I figure out what size this dress is?

It is my daughters, it's a prairie dress we ordered for her a few years ago (when she was into the 1800's)- we want to sell it. I have no idea what size it is, we ordered online from somewhere (king's daughters or something like that). TIA :D

I would measure the bust, waist, length, etc, and then compare it with a size chart like Hanna Andersson. They have very detailed size charts.

You can measure across the chest and post that measurement. Also measure around the waistline (if it has one), neck to waist length, and neck to hem length. You can take these measurements to the store with you, along with a measuring tape, and compare them to dresses on the rack to come up with an approximate size.
