Need suggestions for 4th grade literature and science

Hello everyone,

We are new here and just started in this classical education sequence with my children. Therefore, my fourth grade and first grader are working on the same science (biology), but the first grade level is just too easy for my fourth grader. He has requested his own study. I need suggestions please that follow the same topics that the first grader is working on.

Also, I would like suggestions for a fourth grade literature study.

Noeo Biology II perhaps? R.E.A.L. Science by Pandia Press also has a good Life Science program. I don't know about Literature in 4th.

I would propably look at the 5th Grade Science suggestions in the WTM and go from there. He should be able to use most of the materials. The writing required may a be bit too much for him but I think you could easily match that up with the level of writing he (and you) is comfortable.
