This is from her blog and she wants to makes sure that she is covering everything she should be. I told her that I believe she is but she wants the opinion of the hive. What say you?
Science:
Because of my pocrastination last year and the amount of time I spent traveling I still haven't finished Biology which should have been done at the end of last school year. Which is one downside of homeschooling. I don't really have set deadlines other than the end of High School. So for the start of this list Biology is what I'm currently working on and I should be done with it soon with luck and determination. I'm using Biology Exploring Life by Campbell, Williamson, and Heyden.
I'm also currently working on Anatomy. Which while it's fascinating it should also prove useful with the career I plan to start my life out with after the first two years of college. I'm using Body Structures & Functions the Tenth Edition by Ann Senisi Scott and Elizabeth Fong and I'm also using an Anatomy coloring book Illustrated by Stephanie McCann and wrote by Eric Wise.
As soon as I finish Biology I will do Chemistry
And while Physics is optional I will fit it in my schedule as well.
Math:
Geometry I'm useing the Teaching Textbooks for Geometry
Algebra II
English:
Grammar has already been done for all my High School years.
Writing will continue the next couple years and I hope that I can do it with Miranda because not only is she a fantastic writer that I hope will rub off on me, I will enjoy having someone to work with.
Literature
Social Studies:
I'm currently reading and answering questions from the Glencoe World History and after I'm through I will probably read some more in depth books on history
I'm also reading Acient History : From the First Civilizations to the Renaissance by J.M. Roberts
There is the online game which has already greatly inmproved my knowledge of geography. While I'm learning history my knowledge should also improve.
I've already read American History but it wouldn't hurt to have a refresher
I also hope to do a course on American Goverment
Language:
For the next two years I will be learning Latin which I've already started and I love learning. I hope to become fluent and it should also help me with future languages I wish to learn such as Spanish.
Art:
I'm reading The Story of Art the 16th Edition by E.H. Gombrich which is a very facinating book and I encourage you to read it if you ever have the time.
I will probably brush the surface of photography as well.
I might work on an art portfolio over the next couple years as well.
Literature List:
Sherlock Holmes
The Bible (I would like to try and read this front to back it's such a big part of our culture it'd be a shame not to read it all)

A Mid Summer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
