My 7th grader is doing RS English all by herself!

I have a 7th grader who has done Abeka grammar since Kindergarten. She was a year ahead in English,so she did Abeka k-7. This year, she is doing R&S 7th grade,and doing it all by herself. All I do is correct her work and make out some tests for her. I don't know if this is a brag, or a curriculum praise, or both. All I know is I am tickled pink with both her and the curriculum. This is my first time using anything R&S,and I think we will be continuing, maybe even switching over for my other kids.

My 4th, 7th, and 8th graders are basically doing Rod and Staff English 4 and 6 by themselves. What they do is read the lesson to themselves, then I do just a few of the oral lessons with them to be sure they understand it and then...they are off! So far it is working quite well.

Is this *my* ideal way? No. I always dreamed of teaching my children everything myself (using the TM as my tool), however, now that I am schooling 5 children, on 5 levels, I just cannot do this in all subjects. :D
