You can try Home School Reviews (http://www.homeschoolreviews.com/)or The Old School House (http://www.thehomeschoolmagazine.com/Homeschool_Reviews/)

A very dangerous place to go is Rainbow Resources (http://www.rainbowresource.com/index.php) which is a catalog. It has good descriptions and some reviews of lots of things. A good place to see what is out there.
