Tax question

If I donated books to the library how would I put that into the "It's Deductible"?
It only ask for the Charity Name. Would I just put the libraries name there?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the donation would have to be to a non-profit organization, not the library itself. For example, in our library system, each branch has its own non-profit Friends of the Library type group. Maybe you could ask your branch how it allocates the donations...if it counts them toward the non-profit group, then I'd just enter that name.
