That would mean that we have filed ours already, and that hasn't happened yet. We're expecting a small refund, but our home remodeling project has taken all of our extra time lately. In addition, DH's company sent an e-mail saying that everyone would be getting a corrected W-2. I think they sent out the wrong ones on purpose because they couldn't meet the Feb. 1 deadline with the correct W-2 information.

That's what I am doing too. I have never had a large chunk of money to buy books and I am giddy LOL. We are paying off some bills and getting some much needed things. I wouldn't have filled early if we hadn't been expecting a refund. I hate doing taxes :-D

Direct Deposit will go in on the 17th for state and 22 for fed.

And then today, Dh gets a note in his box saying they were not able to calculate certain something-or-others and now he will get a W-2c with the correct information on it.

Our church statement just came a few days ago, so I am putting the finishing touches on everything today. They took their sweet time, and I hadn't kept perfect track of our extra offerings, so I had to wait.

I didn't think I'd get mine until tomorrow but I called the bank today and it was deposited LAST Friday. I couldn't believe it. Pretty cool. It took less than a week from the time we e-filed until our check was deposited.

After seeing this thread, I check my bank account and was shocked to see that our state refund is already deposited! I filed it on line Monday!!!! Wow. Now that is service. Guess I better go check on Federal now. Mine goes for nothing 'fun'...but I am thrilled to pay off my parents the last of what we owe them for a car we bought from them (which will now be free and clear!) and the rest goes for stock options. :rolleyes:

I just checked Federal and it will be deposited on the 19th. Wow. Amazing at how efficient they are in this area.....wow.

We are. The whole thing (and I'm grateful, not complaining) is going to make an agreed on payment to help get my mortgage current. I pay "extra" until December and I'll be caught up.

We are in the same state I believe and I filed on the 1st and haven't seen my state yet. I hope it shows soon!

We got ours last Friday! Still waiting on the state. We've been trying to get our 3-6 month emergency fund and by the end of the month we will getting very close!!! I love 3 paycheck months and refunds!
