This would be for my dss ages 6, 9, and 12. I had ds 12 look at Explorers examples on line, and he is in between Discovery and Quest. Discovery seems too easy but Quest looks too difficult.

Can anyone compare the two programs? If I used BSGFAA, I don't think I'd use the worksheets, unless I get convinced that they are really good to have.

Thanks.

We used the first year and bought the whole manual. But for the second year, I'm just buying the worksheets since most of it is covered in the sheets anyway. I have an advanced 11 yo who likes this, as well as a 10 and 8 yo who use intermediate lessons, and a 5 yo who uses the beginners.

My dd is in 5th grade. She and a small group of 5th/6th grade girls have been doing job, Psalms, and Proverbs from the quest series quite comfortably.

I have found, in running church programs and in teaching Bible study over the years, that most children can comfortably work one level above what is recommended by the curriculum.

You know your son best, though, and you know at what level he can work comfortably. I hope you are able to find an answer that works well for you. :)

I'll have my ds look at both to see which one he likes better. We have until September to decide so I'm not in a hurry.
