Apologia General Science time/day?

My to be 7th grade son will be doing Apologia's Gen. Sci. next year. How much time should I allocate for him to do a good job if we follow a five day schedule? I am looking to Donna Young's schedule for guidance. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated as well.

DD's friend who is over says it takes her 1/2-1 hour.

They both do it 5 days a week.
