Writing With Ease. Which level?

I have a second grader who has been doing 3 sentences of copywork each day. We haven't done any narration, though. Should I start him on Level 1 or Level 2 of Writing With Ease?

I highly recommend the placement test in the Fundamentals (http://www.peacehillpress.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=111) book. We started in book 1 because my daughter had zero practice in narrations and very little in copywork. Book 2 has dictation which was another reason for us to start with the first. I went through the book and selected several weeks worth of work for us to go through and we will start the second book after Christmas.

I would start him on level 2. It really coaches a child through the process of summarizing and restating what he or she has read. And given the amount of copywork your child is currently doing, it sounds like he's well-prepared for the amount of writing in WWE2.
