Print up drill sheets from the internet instead.

I used them for PreK and they weren't teacher intensive at all. I opened the book, read the directions and my daughter did the work in them.
Amazingly enough she started out not liking them to loving them and it prepared her well for Kindergarden.
I recommend them :>)
