We are looking for a art program, what do you use? My daughter is also learning to play the guitar. She has been doing really well but the video and book we got her isn't really enough. We are considering lesson's but it would be hard living out in the boonies like we do. We love some suggestions. Thanks!
Many Blessings,

We are using Atelier Art for the first time this year and it's really been great. It is easy to implement and the projects and fun and interesting.
You simply watch a short instructional lesson for about 15 minutes on dvd and then you do the lesson. The lessons require a minimal amount of materials that are easy to collect and keep on hand.

For guitar, do you live anywhere near a Schmidt Music store? They offer a short set of group lessons that are affordable. And because it's just a certain number of weeks, it might be easier for you to plan some trips to town those weeks? It helped my son just get a feel for tuning the guitar, fingering, and strumming, with a little individualized feedback too.

We use Artistic Pursuits http://www.artisticpursuits.com/ I am not "artistic" but my daughter is. It's self guided and easy to teach. They read lessons, study artwork, and do a project each week.
Sorry, can't help you with guitar:001_smile:

I'm not sure if we do or not. I did get a list of names. I like your idea though. She's advanced and I believe good teach herself with just a little help at first. Thanks for the advice!
