sorry if this is a repost, but I can't find my thread.
Does anyone have a really nice, big, version of A Christmas Carol that they really like? I want something with at least a few beautiful illustrations. This would be to read aloud to DD age 6 this season.
Ditto for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Thank you, that does look good. Do you have it? Or does it just look good on Amazon?

I know this isn't what you are asking for, but Patrick Stewart did a wonderful audio version of the story. It's extremely well done. You might consider purchasing it to listen to while you look at the story book together.

I have it, it is beautiful. If you have a Barnes and Noble nearby they probably have it in the children's section; check the Christmas display, that's where I bought it last year.

Last year, we bought the same book that Karen linked. I love it!
Hope this helps,

:iagree:The one Karen linked does have beautiful illustrations.
My favorite is illustrated by Quentin Blake (http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Carol-Quentin-Blake/dp/0689802137). He has done the illustrations for many of Roald Dahl's books. Unfortunately it is out of print, but our library has a copy and I borrow it every year. :)
The link above shows the cover, but if you try to look inside it shows a different book. :001_huh:
