If you are using year 1 (or have used) does it teach number bonds for addition and subtraction? We've spent so much time learning number bonds with My Pals are Here and I'm thinking of switching to the US edition for year 2 but don't want to learn another "method".
Is anyone else using My Pals are Here? Is it possible to purchase this series in the US?
I wish I could see the US edition in print, the sample pages I've found online are not enough visual aid for me.

Number bonds are an inportant part of Singapore Math but in level 2 you are working with addition and subtraction with regrouping and multiplication and divsion of 2's, 3's, 4's, 5's and 10's. There is also graphing, area, fractions and such.
I've not seen the My Pals are Here Math but I wouldn't think that the general teaching concepts would be too different.

My guess is that the only difference are things like money, and measurements (in the US version they probably throw in inches, pounds, etc). I have the MPH (non US version) for levels 2 through 5 and they have only metric measurements. Then I have the Singapore math that most people are familiar with (I don't know the exact name) in the US version for 1A and 1B. That has US measurements and US money.

Thanks for your replies. I'm still considering what to do, but I think I will switch to the US version.
