But does anyone know how A Beka math and A.C.E. math compare? If a student has done A Beka math up through PreAlgebra, could they just switch to A.C.E. for Algebra 1. I am hoping to use the DVD's with it as well. My daughter just needs some more instruction with higher-level math than she did with math at a lower level.

Or does anyone know of something that would work better than A.C.E. with the DVDs? (and not Saxon with Dive CDs because we have already tried this.).

Thank you!

Have you looked at the abeka videos? That would be a logical choice, since you've been doing abeka. If you need more options, check out the listings on Cathy Duffy's site. Most things (VideoText Interactive, etc.) will give you samples. I certainly wouldn't buy anything without seeing a sample first, as the quality and interest-factor really varies, from what I've seen. And remember SWB's advice that you try to think long-term, as something where you can get in a sequence and stay with it. Could she enroll in your local public school just for math?
