I am having a hard time finding pictures of xrays that look like what my daughter has and I really want to see some examples so I can know how much to push at insurance slowness. My youngest flew off her scooter last Tuesday evening and ened up getting x-rays on Wednesday. She had nothing broken but the pediatrician and the radiologist both noticed a bump or lump on her lower femur but not at the joint. She didn't have any pain there and it is unrelated to the fall but they just found it because of the xray of her knee. Anyway, they referred us to orthopedics and the orthopedic PA has ordered an MRI and wants us to see a pediatric orthopedist who is coming on January 31st. The pediatrician mentioned that it more likely to be a bone cyst. Anyway, the insurance claims I probably won't even get a referral until next Friday and therefore may not have the MRI in time for the specialist. In the meantime, I am having to deal with pediatric neurologist for my older daughter who has had a non-stop headache since Nov. 23rd. I thought I might be able to finde some xray images to compare to the ones I saw and help relieve my anxiety. Any offer any advice?
