Is it hard to work in the Time Travelers Series with American Story 1?
I think that the books would be more up my dd alley but I really want to add the TT series.... I think the All-American Set would may be too much for my only dd.....
I'm just trying to weigh all our options and get some ideas....
Thank you all,
Kate

My children are 8 and 11. Both are a little daunted with the amount of writing in Time Traveler's, however, they both really like it too. The readings are "boring" to my 8 year old. I'm using TT with AS1 myself but I'm also using SL Core 3 too. It's easy to fit in if you don't mind either doing more in one day or if you don't mind spreading AS1 out longer than 36 weeks.

I have Amer Story 1. I have never seen the TT series, but I will say, the Amer Story 1 instructor guide is laid out topically, and it is designed to coordinate in pace with the All American and the American Crossing programs. So I would think you could just use the parts of TT that topically corresponded to your topic of the week with Amer Story 1. You would have a bit of work cut out for you, but I believe it would be do-able.
I also believe you could "get by" with just Amer Story 1. Maybe buy the first TT package and see if it is "too much"?

Thank you both!
Great Idea Snowwhite about purchasing just one to see if it will work well...
Lucidity- We do spread our school work out over a year and not you typical 36 weeks so that would work well
Thanks again!
