We have Manners Made Easy, but honestly it's not getting done, lol. I just can't get into it. Besides being an example and modeling appropriate manners, what "curriculum" do you use if you use one?

Thanks!

I have some books I use as talking points. They're not really a "curriculum" that includes workbook pages or projects or things like that. I have boys only, so these might not be right for you:

The Family Book of Manners, Hermine Hartley

We've already been through this one this school year, along with a Character curriculum I picked up through Indiana hs association and a set of classroom posters I used that covered topics such as honesty, integrity, etc., etc.

Manners, Aliki

A Little Book of Manners for Boys, Bob and Emilie Barnes (we've been through this one this year, too). I think there's a version of this for girls, too.

And I have some books from the Living Skills series by Joy Berry that I have picked up second-hand:

Every Kid's Guide to Understanding Parents
...to Being Special
...to Making Friends
...to Decision Making and Problem Solving
...to Handling Fights with Brothers and Sisters

Never used one.

Judith Martin's Miss Manners books are *my* textbooks, and I impart the wisdom learned therein to my dc. There's just nothing better than 18 years of constant nagging :-)
