What do you use for writing programs? Not handwriting, but sentence, paragraph, etc.? Our son has CAPD and spectrum issues, which includes verbal skills/comprehension/vocabulary. We are using GWG for grammar and have seen wonderful results but need extra writing help. Thank you.

I recommend Write Source 2000, and then Writer's Inc. :) Both are at amazon, with excerpts for you to see.
Write Source 2000 takes you through processes, step by step. Writer's Inc. is a resource book.
Write Shop has worked well for my dd who is dyslexic. They break the writing process down into small steps that helped dd to organize her thoughts before writing. It has worked amazing for us. She was recently evaluated and is writing on or above grade level now.

My ds's compositions improved almost immediately with using Sentence Composing for Grammar School. Ds also has/had severe language problems. He was 13 last year when we did it. This year he's working on the middle school version and I'll be starting IEW to build better paragraphs soon.

My 10yo son has AS. We've hit the jackpot with Writing Tales 2. I love it and don't know what to do for next year!

My 11 yods has done really well with IEW. :001_smile:
We're using the SWI level B. We've completed the first 7 lessons of 15 and will probably finish it off sometime this spring.

I have 2 kids who have APD. The older one has done well with Classical Writing. The younger one is still doing copywork.
