I'm looking for a science program for my dd that has experiments/activities. Which would you recommend? She is not enjoying Apologia Astronomy. I definitely need something more hands on. Thank you.

You know, I was never able to find a science program for the early years that I truly liked. In the end we always ended up with the WTM recemmendations with much less writing. We are just now 4th grade starting to feel more comfortable with 'programs.'
I would just relax about, read books that are fun, do experiments and/or projects from a variety of sources and call it a day. :001_smile:

Check this out. I bought this and we'll begin it in January for my dd, 8.

REAL Science for kids is easy to read, colorful, and has experiments once a week (or however often you plan them).

A lot of people like R.E.A.L Science. They have a Earth Science/Astronomy level for 2nd graders. It has lots of experiments (so I've heard, I haven't actually used it), and not too much writing.
