What age is this best suited for? I know it says its for k-6th. If you have used this, in your opinion, what age is the ideal age?

Can't be of any real help, but we'll be using it when ds is his fourth year (grade).

I had this program, we did not get all the way through it. It is more of a earth science program than a true geography. The writing is very gentle, with a very christian bent. I tried to do it with my ds in 4th and he found the writing too juvenile. He is very science oriented and would rather have a more academic approach than narrative. Most of the information he had already learned by watching history and science channel.
IMO, it would be great for first even up to third.

I was looking to use it for Earth Science and dd is in 2nd grade so it sounds like it would be perfect.
Thanks for responding!

I have Explore the Holy Land (vol. 2) which I am using this year with all my kids (K, 3, 6, and 8). The tone is directed more toward younger children, but they all get quite a bit of information out of it. We like it a lot.
