I'm going to try Omnibus I with my 7th grader next year. I will probably skip a few of the primary selections though. I purchased the book used, but the CD was missing (which I knew). What is on the CD? Can I successfully use Omnibus I without it?

Thanks!

The CD is the Teacher's Manual. It has all of the assignment and exam answers. Yes, you can use it without the Cd. IT just may be a little difficult to facilitate things without the answers.

The CD includes all the answers, suggested areas of discussion. I have relied on it heavily; it has cut my prep time down to printing out about 10 pages before starting each book.

I would say that you will miss a great deal and make your own life much harder. The good news is that Veritas Press will sell the CD on it's own.

In addition to suggested answers to the questions posed during the sessions, there are tests and a grading calculator that I find most useful.

Do you have a link for this? I've heard that you can't buy the CD separately. I've contacted VP, but I haven't received a response yet. Thanks!

No, I bought the text w/CD, but sold a second student copy last year to someone who had bought the CD direct from VP by phone order. I'd suggest calling them.
